Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov, has predicted some of this weekend’s English Premier League, EPL, games.
Chelsea will face Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at the King Power Stadium.
Watford will host Manchester United in an away Premier League tie on Saturday.
Liverpool will tackle Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday evening, while Man City will face Everton on Sunday at Etihad.
Providing his predictions, Berbatov told Metro UK: “There has been a lot of talk recently around Brendan Rodgers and rumours linking him to Manchester United, maybe he will be a little bit distracted by that. Leicester aren’t in their best shape at the minute and Chelsea will want to keep pushing at the top, so I think they will get the win on the road. Leicester 0, Chelsea 2.”
On the Watford vs Man United match, Berbatov said, “Well, if United want to be successful this year then they need to win the smaller games, people may think they’re not important but they are. I hope United are recharged after the international break and get all three points in this one because they need it. Watford 1, Man United 3.”
Commenting on the Liverpool vs Arsenal game, Berbatov said, “Liverpool will want to put that last result behind them and it will have been eating away at them all throughout the international break so they will be raring to go and come back strong. Arsenal are on an amazing run, but I think Liverpool have a bit more class and power in attack to exploit the spaces in Arsenal’s defence, so I’m going to go with them. Liverpool 2, Arsenal 1.”
Speaking on the Man City vs Everton fixture, Berbatov said, “Although they slipped up against Crystal Palace, I think City will have far too much for Everton. They are really pushing for the title again this season and they need to catch up with Chelsea. Man City 2, Everton 0.”
